charming stay with slight wait for hot water
The charming decor of the Cristina Deluxe Suite truly added to the unique historic experience. The hotel's location made it easy for me to explore various sites and shopping options conveniently. Javier, the server, was exceptionally kind and went above and beyond by recommending a fantastic local dish that was the highlight of my trip.
However, I did notice that it took longer than expected for hot water to come through.

Had a lovely time, especially when Javier recommended the local specialty for dinner and even took photos of me enjoying it! The cozy spa center and relaxing sun terrace were perfect after a day of exploring. Just a heads up, the antique furniture can be a bit creaky, but it adds to the charm! 😊

Don't miss the historical tour to discover the tunnels used by Augustine monks. it adds a fascinating layer to your stay.

The historical charm stands out with beautifully maintained antique decor and intricate hand-painted ceilings. The hotel's history includes unique features like hidden tunnels used by Augustine monks that are a real highlight.
Unfortunately, the hot water took a while to arrive, and navigating the older style of the room was a bit challenging—curtains were difficult to operate, and air conditioning in certain rooms didn’t function properly. A miscommunication about breakfast charges was a minor annoyance, but it's understandable considering the rapid Spanish spoken by the server. Overall, there were several maintenance issues that detracted from the otherwise enjoyable stay.

I stayed in the Classic Suite for 2 nights. The room was spacious and really comfy, with beautiful antiques and charming decor. There was a coffee machine, which was a nice touch. The bathroom had great hot water pressure, too, which is always a win. The only downside was that it took a little while for the hot water to come through. Overall, a lovely stay!
